1. Who we are

This website, couplesmassagecourses.com, and the Melt courses delivered through it, are operated by $30 Date Night Pty Ltd, an Australian company. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company.

We are based in Australia. Our customers are located worldwide.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, create a free or paid account, buy a course, or receive our emails. It explains how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

It does not cover other websites we link to. Those sites have their own policies.

3. The personal information we collect and hold

Information you give us:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your billing address and country
  • your phone number, if you provide it
  • your username and a securely hashed password
  • your orders, subscription status and membership level
  • any messages you send us

We do not store payment card numbers. Card details go directly to our payment provider and are processed by them.

Information we collect automatically when you visit:

  • your IP address and the approximate location it indicates
  • your browser, operating system and device type
  • the pages you view, when you viewed them, and how long you stayed
  • how you interact with pages, including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps, which we may record and replay as described in section 9
  • the site or advertisement that referred you, including click identifiers in the web address such as fbclid, gclid and utm tags
  • which lessons and videos you start and finish
  • errors and security events

4. How we collect and hold it

We collect information directly from you when you fill in a form, create an account or buy something. We collect it automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the site. We also receive information from advertising platforms about how you reached us.

We hold it in systems operated by us and by our service providers. We protect it with access controls, encryption in transit, hashed passwords, a firewall and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, and for as long as the law requires. Australian tax law generally requires us to keep transaction records for five years. When we no longer need information, we delete it or permanently de-identify it.

5. Why we collect, use and disclose it

We use personal information to:

  • create and run your account and give you the courses you bought
  • take payment and manage subscriptions, renewals and refunds
  • send you the course emails that come with what you signed up for
  • send you marketing emails, unless you have opted out
  • measure whether our advertising works and improve it
  • understand how the site is used and make it better
  • keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

6. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. A pixel or tag is a small piece of code that loads with a page and reports the visit to a third party.

We use four categories:

Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work. They keep you logged in, remember your cart, and protect against fraud. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics. Tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they leave.

Session recording. Record how visitors move through a page so we can find and fix the parts that confuse people. See section 9.

Advertising. Measure whether our advertising worked, and show you our ads on other platforms.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you using the site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break login and checkout.

7. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. It uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information about how you use our site, including pages viewed, session length, device and browser type, and an IP address Google uses to derive a general location.

Google processes this on our behalf and stores it on servers that include servers in the United States.

8. Meta Business Tools and the Meta pixel

We use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta pixel, on this website. Meta Platforms operates Facebook and Instagram.

The pixel loads when you open a page here. It tells Meta that a browser visited that page, and sends events such as page views, add to cart, checkout started and purchase completed. It may send a hashed version of your email address if you gave it to us at checkout, so a purchase can be matched to an advertisement.

We also send these same events to Meta from our own server, using the Meta Conversions API. This runs alongside the pixel. It means some event information reaches Meta even if your browser blocks the pixel, so browser blocking alone will not stop it. Use the opt-out routes in section 11 instead.

We use this to measure whether our advertising works, and to show our advertisements to people who have visited our site or who resemble our customers.

Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this website and from elsewhere, and use it to provide measurement services and targeted advertising.

For the collection of your information on this site and its transmission to Meta, we and Meta Platforms Ireland are joint controllers. We are responsible for telling you this is happening and for asking your permission where permission is required. Meta is responsible for what it does with the information afterwards. The information Meta must give you under Articles 13(1)(a) and 13(1)(b) of the UK and EU GDPR, including the legal basis Meta relies on and how to exercise your rights directly against Meta, is in Meta’s privacy policy linked above.

Google Ads

We also run Google Ads conversion tracking across this website. It uses cookies and click identifiers to tell us which advertisement led to a signup or a purchase, and to show our advertisements to people who have visited us.

9. Session recording and heatmaps

From time to time we use a session recording and heatmap service on some pages of this website, including our advertising landing pages, for limited diagnostic periods.

When it is active, it records how your browser interacts with the page: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, taps, and the pages you move through. We can watch these recordings back and view aggregated heatmaps. We use them for one purpose: to see where a page confuses or loses visitors, so we can fix it.

We configure the service so it does not capture what you type. Form fields are excluded or masked, and we do not use recordings to identify you or to build a profile of you.

The service provider processes this information on our behalf and may store it on servers in the United States.

10. Who we disclose it to

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the business. Each one gets only what it needs. They fall into these categories:

  • payment processing
  • website hosting, security and content delivery
  • email delivery and marketing automation
  • course and video delivery
  • analytics, which is Google
  • session recording and heatmaps, when a recording tool is in use
  • advertising, which is Meta and Google

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

If our business or its assets are sold or transferred, customer information may form part of that transfer.

11. We do not sell your personal information, and how to opt out

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We do share limited information with Google and Meta so we can measure and target our advertising, as described in sections 7 and 8. Under some United States privacy laws, including in California, that counts as a “sale” or a “share” for cross-context behavioural advertising.

You can stop it. Any of these work:

To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them. That stops marketing. It does not stop essential emails about your account, purchase or subscription.

12. Overseas disclosure

We are in Australia. Our service providers store and process information in other countries, including the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Where the law requires it, we put contractual protections in place with those providers.

13. How to access or correct your information

Use our contact form at couplesmassagecourses.com/contact-us and put “Privacy” in your message. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct anything that is wrong. There is no fee.

We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by checking you control the email address on the account. We will respond within 30 days.

14. Extra rights depending on where you live

United Kingdom and European Economic Area. You can access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your information. You can object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Where we rely on consent, which covers analytics cookies, advertising cookies, session recording, the Meta pixel and marketing emails, we will not use them until you give it. Our other legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in securing the site and understanding how it is used, and our legal obligations.

United States. Depending on your state you may have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Canada. You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who we have disclosed it to, and ask us to correct it. Use the contact form in section 13. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

15. How to complain

Use our contact form at couplesmassagecourses.com/contact-us and put “Privacy complaint” in your message.

This is what happens next. We acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days. We investigate it, and we may come back to you for more detail. We give you our decision in writing within 30 days of receiving it, including what we found and what we are doing about it. If we need longer, we tell you why and give you a new date.

16. Data breaches

If a data breach happens that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and any other regulator the law requires.

17. Age

This website sells adult intimacy and massage education. It is for people aged 18 and over.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, tell us through our contact form at couplesmassagecourses.com/contact-us and we will delete it.

18. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you by email or by a notice on the site before it takes effect.
