Neck And Shoulders
The Palm Squeeze
DID YOU MASSAGE? | |
---|---|
WHO MASSAGED? |
An elegant massage that feels large as if you’re swallowing the neck muscles with your hands. Lead with your palm and scoop up the neck muscles.
The Palm Squeeze
It’s an odd technique to begin with but you’ll love it once you’ve got the hang of it. I use this all the time just after I’ve warmed up the neck with the basic stroke.
This scoop is a relaxation stroke with deep tissue undertones. It won’t hurt your hands which means you can use it all the time, especially after a solid run of deep tissue massage. When you want to extend the feeling of deep tissue without causing you any more pain.

Forward Slice
Level up with a much more complicated massage stroke. But it feels so good! Master the palm squeeze first and then try the forward slice.
Follow Along (both classes)
This is a massage sequence from start to finish that includes both techniques taught in week 3 combined with the Basic Massage Stroke. An elegantly releasing and rhythmical massage for couples to do at home.

The Basic Stroke

WHO MASSAGED? |
Your most important class! Perfect this massage sequence and repeat it many times.
The Basic Stroke
It really is easy! Concentrate and notice what your fingertips and hands are feeling underneath the skin.
The classes will get harder, this is why it’s important to be super confident with this massage.
VIEW THE ALTERNATIVES CLASS for other options in body positioning.

How to Sit / Alternatives
Comfort is important! Do not give up if at first go it’s uncomfortable… keep looking for the right place at home to massage.
For some of you the couch will be perfect / for others the couch will be too soft.
Follow Along
I’ve included just the follow-along segment for couples who want to skip my voice over.
This is a basic massage, therefore you should aim to perfect it. Make it flow, make it smooth like butter!

How it made you feel
Buried deep inside your shoulders is a knot; you can find it on yourself right now. It feels like a golf ball is buried deep down with only the top edge sticking out. Massage this spot and you’ll make your partner dribble!
The Golf Balls
You’ve probably already massaged this knot before; today I’ll show you 3 techniques you can use to release tension. You’ll create the most epic deep tissue release without hurting your hands.

My massage includes a “hero technique.” Its one movement that I know my partner adores and I’ll build up into this technique creating anticipation. And she knows its coming which makes it even more exciting.
The Hero Technique + Deep Tissue
Repeat the Hero Technique as many times as you wish! Each time you do it gets better!
We’re combining the psychology of anticipation with physical touch. This technique and it works a treat and will have your partner running into mush.
BONUS CLASS INCLUDED: Deep tissue techniques – level up and advance your massage with deeper techniques.

Massage Routine
Now for the grand finale – your massage routine.
This will be a piece of cake for you and pure joy!
Your Massage Routine
Congratulations you’ve already put in the hard work and followed the classes now let’s stitch it together into one continuous flow.
If you find the flow easy (because you studied hard dring the classes) continue the massage after I have finished. Let your creativity flow and improvise your way into your very own bespoke sequence.
Secret Tip
Use the Basic Stroke to help you join deep tissue techniques together and also flow from one side to the other.

PlayTime Accountability
Over the next 6 weeks
I’m giving you 5 massage classes + a massage routine to follow (Neck and Shoulders only)
You need massage oil! This is a must / it’s pointless to do this course without it > get Melt’s Almond Oil here. Do not over think this – oil is cheap, it’ll last you a long time and you’ll use it in every massage.
Accountability
(the most important part of PlayTime)
After each class I ask you to check in with me.
The check-in is more important than the massage itself!
They’ll show you how you value most in your relationship during a 6 week period
It’s fascinating to review at the end of the 6 weeks – it’s what couples love the most
