The videos are simple, step by step and easy to follow. I have no training of massage and my hands are not strong. I can get through an entire massage for my husband and my hands don’t hurt! On the receiving end, it has done wonders to intensify and better my husband’s technique and style. I could be massaged all hours of the day, but my husband would probably get tired. The videos are nice to have on my phone when we forget or need to revisit for better technique. Our biggest “aha” moment was using the bottom of the palm not the fingers. We always tried to use our fingers to dig deep and always tired easily and quick. I would highly recommend these videos for beginners and even experienced. This will be the next wedding gift we give. When my husband and I decided to try out the melt massage techniques, I had discovered them on a date inspiration website. We bought the Melt Videos because I like relaxing my wife – she likes feeling close. My biggest issue before trying Melt was that I didn’t take the time to do massage my wife, and when I did I used my hands in the wrong way (mostly thumbs) and got tired very quickly. The cushion idea that was highlighted in your setup videos didn’t work for us – I am much more comfortable just sitting on my feet. We didn’t start right away because we thought we needed this extra cushion thingee. Perhaps suggest getting started with no extra equipment and IF the massager is uncomfortable then splurge for something similar to what you highlighted in the video.

What I love about the Melt videos is that the instructions are clear and there is a clear visual so show me exactly how I am supposed to do each movement.
I wanted to try the video with the hopes that if I could give my husband a great massage that didn’t pinch, maybe he’d want to give one back. (He tended to pinch a lot when he would give me a massage.) Completely selfish, I know!
I think I already answered my husbands biggest problem before the videos! My biggest issue was that my thumbs would get tired within 5 minutes of starting the massage.
My “aha” moment actually came when my husband was giving me a massage. I don’t have to use a lot of pressure for it to feel completely amazing! I know you said that in your video, but it didn’t really sink in until I was on the receiving end of the massage.

I appreciate all the additional ideas about how to prepare for a special evening…. For example, leaving notes, selecting music that your partner likes, drawing a bath first, surprising them with a space already set up with candles and mood lighting, etc. I think I surprised my husband and that he really appreciated the gesture.
I was inspired to try the videos because I wanted new and sincere ways to show my husband my love for him and do something meaningful and get out of our routines. I don’t think massaging will ever get old. And honestly, the free foot rub offer came on a day that I was so tired and had aching feet (I am also pregnant right now), that it tipped me over the edge to bite the bullet and buy the videos. J
I think our biggest problem before trying the videos was massaging on the bed and while I have had a little massage instruction many years ago, my husband has not. He’s done some things that don’t feel that great and I think he could benefit from some tips and I also want to know techniques that will feel good for him when he is on the receiving end.
I think the lesson on massaging in a seated position and how to keep your hands in contact with your partner’s body and avoid fingertips and pinchy moves as well as how to keep the masseur/masseuse from getting fatigued have all been great tips.

I wanted something perfect for a date night so when I saw that these were for a couple of date nights I was really pleased. I had looked for massage courses in the past but it was tricky to find one we could attend locally which wasn’t prohibitively expensive or at a convenient time.
We loved the idea of being able to come back and watch the videos again whenever we felt like it. I love the way they build into a routine and I appreciate how you can add extra routines like head and hand massage.
In the past when either one of us had asked for a massage it wouldn’t last long and would end up with pressing hard on sore spots which wasn’t very romantic. My partner is very muscular and I thought I had to press really hard and this just hurt my fingers so it was a revelation that this isn’t the case at all. I read a review of the Melt Massage Course on a blog that I subscribe to. The author suggested it as a good Valentine’s Day choice for a date night in. My husband and I had just been discussing “one thing” that we could do for each other that would show love and honor (mine was that he consistently open my door) and he couldn’t think of one thing! It has been a little tricky to download because we have the cheapest internet connection it takes a while to download but once its loaded, its awesome:-) If there was a way to keep it downloaded on your computer, that would help out a lot and we would be able to use all the videos more often.

I found out about the Melt video from the Unveiled Wife. She posted about how amazing the melt video have been for her marriage. I purchased the Melt videos at the recommendation of Heidi St. John for Father’s Day. My husband has a job that is physically demanding, we have four children ranging from 10 years to 11 months, and he has been dealing with chronic pain for several years now. My hope in purchasing the videos was to offer him some relief from his pain and add some relaxation at the end of his day. Little did I know the benefits I would gain as well and the romance it would introduce back into our relationship.
I am a full-time, stay home mom. I enjoy the challenges of homeschooling my children and caring for our home. However, it can be very difficult to turn off the to-do list and focus my energy on my husband at the end of the day after our kids are off to bed. My husband, Bobby, and I were married just over a year ago. One of our little traditions that we decided to incorporate into our marriage was Monday Night Massages. Something I quickly learned is that Bobby has an infinite capacity for massage! Hence my interest in learning better technique and my purchase of Melt: Massage for Couples Video Series.
Our first session was beautiful. We watched the first videos together, then set up our environment (candles, pillows, music, oil) and got started. What I noticed during the first Melt massage was that even though I massaged for half an hour, I never became tired or worn out. We were both in a relaxing setting doing a relaxing activity, and we both loved it.
The second session was similar, but I was able to incorporate more techniques, because we had watched more videos. It made me glow inside when Bobby fell into bed afterward and said, “I feel completely relaxed.” That to me was a sign that our session filled him in a way in which I previously struggled. Typically I wear out before Bobby is fully relaxed. What was really helpful was when Denis talked about massage locations – the bed, vs Denis’ way of doing it… In the past we have always used the bed, but this is part of why I wore out so quickly. And if I was on the receiving end, I sank uncomfortably far into the bed and my back felt weird when pressure was applied. Not so relaxing!
Our latest session was great, because I was on the receiving end. :) I am very sensitive to anything that feels like a poke, and used to complain that Bobby poked me too much. Imagine my delight when I felt his smooth, relaxing strokes, and didn’t suffer even one poke!

My wife is two months pregnant and I was surfing the internet looking for ways to help us remain calm and keep stress at bay. That’s when I discovered Melt: Massage for Couples.
I watched the trailer video and was hooked, I bought the series, watched the first set, went home that evening and tried it with my wife. She loved it, I loved it. It is just a great way for us to be together and unwind, and for just ten to fifteen minutes lose track of everything and intensely focus on each other. Afterwards you feel so relaxed, and the stress of the day seems to have vanished.

I have never been one for massage myself, however my husband absolutely loves to be massaged. Although I will massage him as a way to show him that I love him, it has always felt like more of a chore, and certainly was not for romantic purposes! I was inspired to buy Melt through a Christian couple’s website as it came highly recommended and because of the mention that it was ‘clean’ and ‘romantic’. More than anything, I wanted to surprise my husband with something I knew he would love, but that he wouldn’t suspect I would ever do! He absolutely loved it, and was so relaxed by the time we got through! It has certainly revolutionised the way I viewed massage as something that does not extend far beyond benefiting sore athletes and injured footballers! I had no idea it could be used at home in such an intimate, relationship-building way, given that massage has traditionally done nothing for me. I got just as much out of giving this massage as my husband did out of receiving it.
The greatest revelation for me after working through Melt was that massaging someone doesn’t have to be exhausting. My hands used to hurt after about three minutes, and I would have to stop. By learning proper techniques, and how to use your hands to build a massage, I was able to keep going through the whole video without tiring at all. I think the fact that my husband was enjoying the massage so much helped inspire me to keep going, but the session was also really relaxing for me, and it was the first time I have ever enjoyed massaging someone! I might get John to try massaging me, and I may end up joining the converted!
Any couple would find Melt a really special massage teaching video. I hesitate to call it a ‘program’, because that really doesn’t do justice to the peaceful intimacy of the setting, the tone and gentle demonstration of the videos. In addition to the massage element, it was just a really nice way to learn to connect physically in a romantic, tender way. Melt would be a perfect treat for a memorable romantic night in, and allows you to connect with your spouse whether you have plenty of time, or only a little. My wife and I only just got the Melt program a short time ago, and aren’t masters yet, but we are already enjoying our purchase! The instructions are given in a very easy to understand way, and it’s almost soothing just to listen as the strokes are described! The accompanying visuals are also great to demonstrate how to perform the different strokes.
We’ve only made it through the 5 minute routine so far, but have already learned a lot, and realized we were doing a lot wrong for a long time! We were using the “pinchy-pinchy” method of massaging the shoulders, rather than contouring and keeping our palms and fingers down, and what a difference did doing it the right way make! We also really like the seating arrangement as described in the videos. It’s much more comfortable and enjoyable than laying on the bed with your neck cranked off to one side.
If you get this program, which I highly recommend, I would encourage you to watch the videos a time or two ahead of time to get some of the pointers that are in later videos before jumping right into things. All in all my wife and I are very excited to get moving on to the highlights and the 15 minute routine!

The Melt Massage for Couples video series is an amazing and stunningly well-produced product which should be included in every couple’s relationship survival and enhancement toolkit. I came across the series via a recommendation from a marriage newsletter I receive, and was further spurred on by the wonderful reviews I found on other blogs. I immediately told my wife Tanya about the series and shortly thereafter purchased it.
During our courtship and early marriage, I often would offer to give Tanya massages. As time progressed, I found that whatever techniques I was using either hurt my hands or caused my bride discomfort. No matter what either one of us did, at the end of the session we would both end up being more frustrated than relaxed, which is the exact opposite of what massage is intended to achieve. Instead of drawing us closer, it would push us apart, so, I gave up.
Once I saw the preview for this video series, I KNEW it was time to bring massage back into our lives again. Denis’s techniques are simple, easy on the hands, and allow for an exquisite level of intimacy between Tanya and I during the massage sessions. The individual lessons are easy to follow and the longer routines both with and without commentary are great springboards to re-enforce and utilize what is learned and to continue afterwards on one’s own. Tanya and I continued at least another 10-15 minutes after the first routine and my hands didn’t hurt at all!
The technical level of production on these videos is top-notch. The videos are filmed in full HD quality and have a great soundtrack to set the mood. Denis’s voice-overs are clear, calm, warming, and inviting. The best thing about the course, beside everything else that I wrote, is that these videos are completely PG. While the love and intimate connection between Denis and his wife Emma is clear in the videos, there is nothing that would be considered scandalous at all. While Denis alludes many times to the fact that this is a very intimate kind of massage and that it could lead to further things, that his goal is to teach and demonstrate the techniques, not to show where they could lead.
Lastly, Denis supports and stands by his products 100%. I encountered a small technical problem downloading the routine sessions from the website. Denis was not only quick to respond, but stayed up past midnight in his time zone in order to resolve the problem! THAT is dedication. It is clear to me that Denis is extremely passionate about massage and how it can be used as a tool to help increase intimacy and closeness within a relationship. Melt is an amazing product and I encourage anyone who is debating investing in the product to do so without worry. It is well worth the investment.

My wife loves the occasional massage (especially her feet), and I’ve been pretty poor about offering. A big part of that has been due to hand fatigue and (I now know) physical setup. The videos have been great. They very clearly offer advise on setup (the pouffe is so much better than just sitting on my knees) and the technique – I have much less hand fatigue. The description of oil selection (and use) was actual very useful for me, too.

My wife loves getting massages but I have never had any training in how to do it right until now. I love how intimate, sexy, and enjoyable these routines are. The way my wife used to like being massaged was always deep tissue “the more it hurts the more I like it” method. The problem with this is that it is not intimate (I feel like I’m abusing her), it hurts my thumbs and hands, I get tired of doing it quickly, there is no “bonding” during it, and it isn’t fun for me. Before this, we sort of had an ‘experience’ barrier in terms of massages and techniques, so that’s why we decided to give these videos a shot and it’s still ongoing! With Melt, we learn together, try together and get to spend some really good quality time together.
Unfortunately we’re in a long distance relationship for the better part of this year and could only just start the series. So, we cannot wait to continue the rest of the videos when we get together again this year. We plan to take an amazing vacation late in the year and i am certain these routines will follow us there. Looking forward to getting that aha moment while we’re tucked away in our private quarters in a most amazing Caribbean cruise!

The videos are great! I loved how easy it was to follow along and the freedom to alter the routine. What inspired me to try the videos was when I discovered that one of my boyfriend’s and my primary love languages is physical touch. I wanted to become “fluent” in this language. The biggest discovery for us has been contouring our hands. It really makes a difference.

My husband occasionally gives me a neck massage when I’m working at the computer, but I’ve never felt competent in my ability to return the favor, which is why I jumped at the chance to learn when I found out about this online course. We both spend a lot of our workday at computers and standing, so the few times we’ve splurged on a professional massage, it has been well worth the cost. But with two little kids and our schedules, we both agree that it would be amazing to have a massage more than once every two years!
This course makes that entirely possible, especially with both shorter and longer routines. No need to spend an hour when you’ve only got 20 minutes. A good massage is totally within reach!

I always thought massages should be done on the bed, but glad that the reasoning for sitting was thoroughly explained. I love the bean bag idea; it works like a charm and makes giving massages seem nearly effortless.
Also, they are very attentive to their customers. I couldn’t find the email with log in info (turns out it went to my Spam folder) and I got a prompt reply.

I love the videos for many reasons, most of all because it is simple. It is a great way to have a wonderful date night without having to spend money for the rest of our lives. I heard about the videos through the blog, Simple Marriage. I have been following that blog for a few years and trust the products they endorse. I think the biggest aha moment was to not try to apply too much pressure, but just the gentle touch can have just as powerful of an effect.

My husband and I love the Melt: Massage for Couples video series because they provide simple instructions for quality one on one experiences together. It is so easy to get caught up in the craziness of this world but we need to remember that marriages need our attention. Marriage is a sacred bond, it takes time, energy, consistent intentional dedication to the other person and total immersion in the relationship.
Roger and I consider the Melt video series “marriage maintenance”. I had not heard of Melt prior to following the Dating Divas blog who recommended the series. I ordered the videos and they are AMAZING! Every marriage needs to get their hands on this series (pun intended). Melt is a must have investment in your lives together.

My husband and I have been married for just shy of 5 years but have been together for almost 14! He is a very busy man as he is currently in the throes of a residency/fellowship and has a very frequent on call schedule. With him away, I am also very busy with 3 littlies under foot. We have two girls (3.5 & 1.5) and a baby boy (just 2m old). Date night has sadly become a thing of the past partly due to schedule and partly due to budget constraints.
Both my husband and I love to give and get massages. Seemed like a perfect opportunity for a few at home date nights. Needless to say it has turned out to be well worth the investment. We have so much fun learning the routines and practicing on each other. Relaxing, romantic, and amazing techniques that are so easy to learn.
I love that the videos aren’t cheesy, either. I was a little worried about that :) The aha moment for us in watching the videos and learning the routines was when Denis explains how it’s less about having the perfect technique and more about paying attention to your partner and how s/he reacts to the touch.

Through emails from Simple Marriage, my husband and I discovered another wonderful way to enjoy being together after 35 years of marriage. We’ve just started the video series and are amazed at the gentle massage techniques we are learning.
We love this massage video! It is so easy to follow and relaxing. Not just for the one receiving the massage, but relaxing for the one giving the massage. Denis and Emma provide all the important details and visual instruction you need to spend some quality time with your partner. Techniques are put together in easy massage routines.
