We’ve only studied the very basics of our Melt massage class, and already notice a wonderful difference. We used to give each other massages on the bed, without oil, and using the “pinchy-pinchy” method. It was hard to find a comfortable position for our faces, our hands wore out quickly, and we ended up frustrated. Now we know what we were doing wrong, and with a few easy adjustments, our massages have become much more rewarding! We look forward to using the rest of the classes as our date nights at home, and are so excited to learn more techniques to help us feel relaxed and connected as a couple!

My husband has loved massages since he was a youngster (used to bribe his little brother to give him back rubs) and I have given him “massages” since we started dating 37 years ago. Problem is that I’m a horrible masseuse. My family calls a wimpy, horrible back rub a “mom massage”. When I saw the offer on engaged marriage for your video series it was a perfect gift to give my husband. We started watching the videos together and they are informative and I’m sure I can give a better massage after I finish watching the whole series.

I love that the Melt Videos are easy to follow along with and very simple! We just had a baby and my husband and I needed a new way for us to connect. I saw this from one of my friends on Facebook and thought it was the perfect thing.
Our biggest problem before the videos was probably knowing how to make a massage feel good for both people. I get tired from massaging incorrectly and being improperly positioned but the videos fixed those problems. My “aha” moment was when we tried the techniques, they were so simple to follow along with and learn that it made the whole thing easy and not scary to try at all!
My Tip = Just go for it! It will be great for everyone!

We tried out the couple’s massage videos on a whim. No special occasion, just looking for something to do as a couple. We figured it would be just another fun experiment that gave us something to do together as a couple.
It has been more than that.
Don’t get me wrong, it IS a fun experiment that gives us something to do at times (especially when clothing is optional), but it has been a way to physically connect that doesn’t have to be sexual. Just simple touching and connection.
It has also been helpful in reducing stress after a long day at work, or in helping relieve sore muscles after working out.
So it has (at least) provided 3 things:
1. Contact and connection (that doesn’t have to be sexual)
2. Reduced Stress
3. Pain relief
And for anyone that wants a quick tip that helps make great massages… Denis covers this when he suggests you simply use your whole palm. It doesn’t hurt the masseur and feels great for the receiver.

I can’t explain how easy and realistic these instructional videos are. It used to be my wife asked for a massage or a shoulder rub and I would dread and ended up not giving them because my back would be sore, and my hands would get tired within a couple of minutes. I watched the first quick video and that changed everything. Now we’ve gone through these videos and need to refer back to them more often. This course has made it so much easier and even fun. I no longer have back aches and I actually enjoy giving the massage as much as receiving. I can’t believe we didn’t find this sooner.
